I have been married to an A for 3 1/2 yrs. we have a 5 yr old. My AH has worn out all promises of "drinkin deals" available. He finally has started goin to AA meetings last wk. While I was not allowin him to be at our house for a wk after his last black out session that left him fist fightin in our front yard with his 60+ yr old father. The only reason my father-in-lw didnt get hurt was becase he was SO drunk .. he could barely stand...This morning he woke up.. grouchy as hell.. (been a wk and 1/2 w'out a drink)seems like when he's not living here .. he cant do enuf to get back home.. and when he's home he wants to decide when he can be nice and when he wants to be talked to etc. WTH? I was never raised with addiction and I'm at a total loss with mood swings of this nature etc. I just know I want my son to grow up in the same "world" i did - not this addiction "world" his father grew up n. There is no excuse for not bein nice to ppl, even when tired or bad mood.. NO EXCUSE... I just dont get it ... I am so frustrated !! and to top it off.. he left with a friend.. so I am prayin he comes back sober !  .. sober he can be an ass .. drinkn he's fine for a bit then out of the blue..picks fights and turns violent !! OMG !!
