I have been in and out of recovery for many years. I never had a sponsor. When I read that someone on the stepboard was working with a sponsor online I realized I needed help to work the steps. I am powerless to help myself. I really get it. A wonderful person is helping me and I just welcome the help. In the past, even when I have gone to F2F meetings, I thought I never needed a sponsor. Well, I do and I accept it. I also want to say an alanon stepboard member was helping me alot. I accidentally erased the messages and have lost her stepboard name. I hope you are still on the stepboard and can contact me again. Lyne

New to ACOA , have been around A.A. for some time. The ablility to receive help, inspiration and rationality from someone who has been there done that is priceless. As I've heard many times, a problem cannot be solved by the mind that created it.
LYNE I PM'D YOU
