Hello everyone! I was so pleased to see a "chat site" that discusses the 12 Steps. I am one of those who just found that after I quit drinking, it's a whole lot harder to see things clearly! Then God brought ACA before me. I am just starting...and as you know I wane between enthusiasm to condemnation., An immediate need for come encouragement is my "fear" of looking at the 4th Step. As you know, seeing page after page of work to do initially is overwhelming. I'm hesitant in thinking "I don't want to live through those memories to that extent...it could kill me! I know I'm wrong, but would certainly appreciate some encouraging words.
The steps lead us to freedom from fear and pain I learned to embrace my past, learn from it and then let it go.
It is a process so please do keep coming back
