Today I am grateful for my sobriety. It is Easter Sunday and I can't think of a better day to be sober. I feel so content today and I know that is because God has answered my prayers and given me a better life. Thank you and 24 more to everyone. Have a great day!

A.A. Gratitude
Sobriety is my first Blessing of GRATITUDE. I owe THANKS to God, A.A. and other people showing me the way by listening, reading, and through my Sponsor.
When I want to be depressed or think of my cup as 1/2 empty instead of 1/2 full I need to remember what I used to be like before I came to beleive in a POWER GREATER than myself.
Today, I have Gratitude for a GOD that I have a relationship with that I call Jesus, for a roof over my head, for food in my stomach, a husband that LOVES me and has never seen me drink or use drugs. Parent's that have forgiven me over time, a Son that no longer has a pathetic, complaining, ( sit on the pitty pot) drunk for a Mother that was in and out of hospitals for alcohol poisoning, blackouts, overdoses and other HORROR FILLED experiences.
Gratitude taking it ONE DAY at A TIME, sometimes a second at a time. Gratitude that the hand of A.A. is always here when no one else understands or cares. We can all be GRATEFUL for our FOREFATHERS that started this program and listened to the teachers they were taught by. Thanks God, Thanks A.A., Thanks Miracles in Progress, without PEOPLE being obedient to GOD none of us would be GRATEFUL for anything.
I pray, Today I am GRATEFUL let my GRATITUDE to GOD, pour on someone elses life. May it make there problems a light load today, reflecting GODS Love for that person. Then making it become contagious in Gods Love have it flow through them to the next person and so on.
Love
