WHAT IS THE BIG BOOK?
The Big Book, so to speak by most Alcoholics is normally a Dark Blue Hard cover book that is embosed on the cover in block letters "Alcoholics Anonymous". But I have also seen it in soft cover in blue also.
Anyone, that has any questions regarding alcohol, behavior, abuse, and the Recovery program of A.A. check it out. The first 164 pages are the ones that will let you know whether or not this program is for you or not, hopefully you have asked someone to Sponsor you with great care after reading the Sponsorship leaflet. A Sonsor guides you through the steps and the different emotions that pop up during Recovery.
Every Service Center or Alano Club has Big Books generally some meetings do as well, along with the literature for meetings that they have available for New Comers and Old Timers. Just Ask!
My favorites, The "Big Book" the 12-12 to do my 12-Steps with the B.B. Daily Meditations, 24 hrs, living Sober, Best of the Grapevine. I journaled everyday, went to meetings, cried, walked, Church, prayed, accepted Christ as Lord, baptized in water.

Came To Believe, the AA Booklet has been an integral part of my first experiences of a Higher Power. Reading from this book repeatedly during my rehab time helped me a lot to open my mind to the concept of such a Power that was so very new and alien to me otherwise when I first tried to sober up... Please check it out... It's an awesome resource of AA literature...
