Hi everyone,
My name is Carol and I'm an alcoholic. I have been in recovery just over one year and I'm working the steps to the very best of my ability. I love our program and the changes that it is bringing in me. I am truly grateful to have found AA and to be enjoying my sobriety.
As I have just joined this forum today I thought that I'd say 'hi' to everyone. Have a super and sober twenty-four, won't you?
Take care,
Carol

Hi Carol,
I see your posts on the other forum . Welcome. I'm new here as well, but will be trying to share on the steps. One other thing... my daughter Sheila loves your avatar. She's two. She comes runnig over to the computer when she sees it pointing and smiling.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for the welcome. That was good. Yes, I post on the other forum as well but, until recently, I was part of an email step group. The group had to stop as the guy doing it all just didn't have the spare time any more. But, I'm looking forward to sharing here on the steps.
Thank you for what you said about your daughter and her liking my avatar. That brought a big smile to my face.
Have a great and sober day.
Carol

Dear Carol,
Hello and Welcome!
My names "Blessed," on the Recovery line because I am. I struggled with ALcohol and drugs for 28 years. I haven't picked up John Barley Corn, cocaine, or other hard drugs and cigarettes for 13 plus years and I am proud of what through the "Grace of GOD" has been accomplished.
God is always in control of everything in my Life, when I forget it, my life goes downhill rapidly. My pink cloud blew away after the first year so (I had to with GOd's intervention) really stay on top of working things to keep me from running away. I failed sometimes really badly especially with the people I LOVED MOST. It is always humbling when you can admit your faults to one another.
Life is full of life and the changes it has everyday. I am a Woman of God in Recovery and I am BLESSED.
It was nice to share with you, I will pray for us all during this Season together.
Love Blessed
