Step 1; we admitted we were powerless over alcohol  (& drug abuse) that our lives had become unmanageable.
Sep 2 ; came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
Step 3; made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

hi, we are on Step 8 currently and Dot put up the alanon 8th Step a couple of posts below.   We would welcome your es&h and shares on Step 8.   Then dot will put up Step 9.  We will be on Steps 1,2 &3 after we get to STep 12.   Meanwhile, if you have special current concerns about Steps 1,2 & 3,   you can click on the page number below and scroll back to the last times we discussed those Steps, or you can join the alanon message board, and go to meetings there (which is a good idea in any case)  and ask about other Steps there,,,  or you can private message Dot, or me.

I'm glad you're here.  We just have to get this back in the order that fits our format.  Please read the sticky posts at the top of the message board for the format.   Thanks.

amanda
