Gurl25, Step 3 (Al-anon)

I have made the decision to turn my will and my life over to HP because I can't handle everything on my own and there are many things in life I'm not meant to handle.

Questions

1. How do I know who or what my Higher Power is? I can see two HP's in my life, Alanon and God. I know because I can feel them there. I know because I can see how much peace they've brought to my life in such a short time.

2. How can I stop thinking, trying and condidering and actually make a decision? By setting boundaries that I can actually enforce and having a back-up plan to help me if I can't actually enforce it on my own - and I'm actually doing that!

3. How can I stop myself from taking my will back? By continuing to work my steps, staying involved in Alanon and surrounding myself with a support system and ppl and who believe in a HP. That is not to say that everyone in my life is like that, but the closest friends & family, they are.

4. How can I turn a situation over and let go of the results? Basically the same as number 3. If I have a system in place, then I have a guide to go by and ppl to support me in that.
