step 10 NA

I have found a daily inventory or "look back" at my day to be very helpful in identifying areas of my life which need attention or more work.  NA has an information pamphlet entitled "living the program" which I have found to be very helpful in a daily analysis of how my recovery is going.  The following is  the format for that pamphlet :

Dear God, show me what I have done right and wrong today.Show me how I can better live and serve your will tomorrow.
Just for today, my thoughts will be on my recovery, living and enjoying lifewithout the use of drugs.Am I clean today? _________________________________________________________
How have I acted differently? ___________________________________________________
Did my disease run my life today? _______________________________________________
If so, how?___________________________________________________________________

Thank you Fred for sharing the IP here. Just the reminder for me as to how useful this simple IP was for me in my first year of recovery. How could I have forgotten it? Glad to see you take the initiative and participate here for the benefit of NA members like me smile.gif

Keep the miracle alive, we need you here...

Big NA Hugs and fellowship love to you, Tahir.

Hello everyone,

Thanks for re-posting this it certainly has been helpful to remember that I have a Daily Inventory Sheet. Today, I have to say that I was afraid so I prayed, and prayed , then prayed somemore. Shared with a friend that I was in Fear so she is praying as well as my husband is praying.

I prayed for more than one person today which is a wonderful place to be. This Step reminds us to do that. As long as I am not holding any resentments or unforgiveness against my brothers and sisters my prayers are heard. If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear.

God is in Control and he knows what is best. His Will be done, not mine. I can pray for healing for my Dad, Healing for myself, Freedom, Recovery, and Rededication for my Son. However it is each person's choice to choose his or her own Faith. God gave us Free will and I am choosing his offering me his Son.

Drinking or using isn't an option to handle lifes difficulties anymore. I don't have another drink or drug left in me. I used and drank fro 28 years off and on and very heavy at many times when the money ran freely. The septum in my nose isn't there anymore the use of cocaine in the early 80's. When the Rich and Famous were doing it I was right there. Times were good and bad. I was the one snorting up cars, airplanes and the like. Driving Rolls Royces and Mercedes at 22 yeasr old, living in Multi million dollar homes with a huge hole in my HEART. Evil thinking and evil doing so much destruction. I think about how much money GOD saw this child waste and How he has Forgiven me, and I have Forgiven myself for everything I ever did. Well, it is amazing! Giving me a new life is just awesome.

I pray that each and every Newbie, Newcomer, and anyone that is looking for a way out of the ALcohol, Drugs, Co-Dependency, inabling to join hands with A Sponsor that works a wonderful Program to come along for a Love filled joy filled SOBER life.

May this 2008 bring many Men and Women to Sobriety with there children that are caught in the Cross-Fire.

We Love you,
Blessed and her Husband ( Blessing )
