You can beat your addictions!

Hello everybody, well I just wanted to come on here and talk to you all about fighting your addictions. Having to witness firsthand what it's like to see someone go through their addictions is a very painful experience. I had a friend of mine fall into the pits of substance abuse, and he never came out of it quite the same. In the end he was found unconscious on his floor by his dad, he then went to rehab. And it is such a depressing thing to think about, because I don't even talk to him anymore.

That's why I think it is so important to watch for signs that someone you love might be abusing drugs. If you suspect something, you should confront the person right away, and try and help them.

Have any of you all seen that show Intervention on A&E? I think it's a really amazing show because it really shows the seedy underbelly of America, and it's important that people's eyes are opened to the drug epidemics sweeping parts of our country. I work with them and I just want to let you all know that the new season premiere is on Dec. 3rd at 9pm, you can also log on to http://www.aetv.com/intervention
