A.A.'s We need Step 1,2,3, done properly and in order

On page 6 we have a hodge Podge of Steps 1-3 that look like they should be taken apart and given there own space.
it would be nice to have the Alcoholics Anonymous ( Big BOOk), and the twelve Traditions books (12 x 12 )  follow along with a reading plan with each Step.
So NEWBIES actually dong these Steps from home will be getting fed the correct way.
every step should be in order 1 through 12. i do pray that would happen in 2008.

Love in Recovery,
Blessed

Hey blessed, Hi!. How is it supposed to work here? I agree the steps should be worked in order but once you've grasped or done one I personally go back and forth as needed. I would hate to need to do step three and couldn't talk about it because it wasn't March or step three week.

I have an idea. I don't think it is hard for the admin to make child boards. old discussions or even new ones could get moved to the right subboard for that step. It could develop into a good resource that is slightly ordered but not too much.

It might be nice to have a general are. Kind of a what step is this and which should I work on this problem? Not everybody knows what step to work on a particular problem. I often find people two or three years in that don't realize the steps can and should be used on life's problems rather than just studied and expounded on in meeting. Same goes for the traditions.

If any of this is against group conscience I apologize. in advance.

Tugboat,

You have gleaned many blessings from the Steps. Have you worked with your Sponsor through the 12x12 and the Big Book together?
It amazes me to see how little I know and how much more I have to learn each time I read or skim the books.

Tonight is a good time to reflect on what the Big Book has to say on Step 6, "Were entirely ready to have God remove alll these Defects of character." aww
My husband promised me that he wouldn't play around anymore in second world on the computer.
I call it adultry, he calls it fun. We have been married for 12 years, have no children together, I have one Son from another marriage, and I have permanent Chronic Pain disabilities from Fibromyalgia, CFS, back pain, as a result of Chronic Pain.
Please pray for us both
Blessed
