Thanks, Dot...   I know it is the holidays too. You got me to help you now. I would like to add the Traditions too this time.


I'll share with you that I have a tuff time through the holidays and winter, so it helps me to keep busy with it, and keep the Steps on my mind. With the days being short and being inside more it is hard. I like it better when I can go outside and get busy with things that keep other things off my mind.

  We got the 3 versions of explanation of  Step 1,,   AA, alanon, and ACoA,, and the 1st Tradition also,,, and a few shares... it looks good to me,,,  it moves better than over the space of 2 weeks, I think.  So,,, Sunday we can start with the 2nd one? Once we put the excerpts all in.. then we can cycle through the Steps by pasting the same ones in and do more sharing,,, and the slogans. Okay?

Hi - You're doing a great job. At our Al-anon business meeting I announced we were up and running and asked for shares on the steps.

Are you saying that if I go to preview post it starts my time over?
I stll can't put more than a paragraph of al-anon on - that's all our limited use allows - but it would sure help when sharing.

Love ya lots - remember H.A.L.T during the holidays and do somthing nice for yourself everyday. You're worth it!!!

I'm not sure how it works, but,,  typing some stuff in and then previewing it, and then typing more in keeps it from timing out I think.


Thanks for reminding me about HALT. I sure do have it right now. I'm trying to stay in a positive mode while my tendency is to depression right now. Too many things going on, medical stuff, financial stuff, relationship stuff, as well as holiday stuff. ~sighs~


I am not posting the whole chapters, but putting in the main ideas in excerpts. I do hope that people will read our posts and get the books to be able to see the complete things. I do think it is better to see the 'official' commentary to understand the program as intended, instead of just reading the Step sentence and putting any old interpretation on it, which can actually put us on the wrong track. At the face2face meetings I go to there is the literature, and the topics and sharing wherein we help each other to learn and grow in the program.
