I find that sometimes I have an inventory of traits, both negative , positive and neutral. I am kind of aware of how I am,,  but I see some things as necessary and useful and don't know any better way.  I don't find, usually , that I want to change too much.  But then it happens that a particular trait has resulted in a behavior that is really undesirable. I did something that is a logical progression of that trait kind of automatically, but then I realize too late that it made the situation worse instead of better and I wish I didn't do it,, but can't change it,, so then...  then... I am ready for God to make a change in me,,, so that I don't do that again and learn a better thing to do to get better results.

Like just in the past week, I have had glimmers of insight into something that I did, either in an action, or a word, or an attitude,,, and that it is from my past and I don't need to do that anymore. Why should I use just an old habitual behavior if it is not good for new goals?

I don't yet know what is better,,,  but I am ready and open to good changes.
