My life with the 12 Steps

Hello,

Where to start? Well, I'm a recovering alcoholic and this September, God Willing, I will celebrate my 15th year of sobriety.  The only reason I believe that I have "survived" in recovery is because of the 12 Steps.

But my life has had more addictions then alcoholism.  I am a co-dependent as well as a child of an alcoholic, actually alcoholics.  And the 12 Steps have helped me along the path to recovery from these addictions as well.

I believe in the power of the 12 Steps and the gifts I have received from them.  And it all started with me admitting to being powerless.  Below is a video of a poem I wrote about the 12 Steps, I hope you enjoy it...
