Hi I am new to this step board. I have finished step one which took alot of hard work to do. I had to admit that I was powerless and couldn't control what my husband is doing. Even though I moved to step two I still am struggle with letting go of control. Since I started Alanon I have been able tolet go better.


Since I started the problem I have moved to a new place, which was very hard for me to leave a place where I lived for 6 yrs. My husband and family were pushing me to move and I was fighting it all the way. I didn't have friends in Alanon or a sponsor so I was having a real hard time. I was cutting myself to release the angry and pain I was feeling. I had such a hard time.


My husband is going for a post office job which I know will be good for him but I don't like changes. I am trying work on that. The job will problary be a distance so that will mean he will get a car which another hard thing for me to do with. But with help of my sponosr and support group I will be able to do it.
