Hello everyone,


I was looking for Al-anon in my community and was unable to find anything so it dawned on me that I might be able to find something online. And low and behold I found you. I know NOTHING about how Alanon works or quite frankly even what it really is,except to say that I know it helps people that deal with an alcoholic loved one. Well, that would be me.


As I was reading some of the posts trying to get a fix on Al-anon I also discovered that not only do I need help dealing with my husband, I need to get help with my own addiction. My addiction of choice being food. I'm hoping to get some more info on what and how Al-anon works. When I joined last night it was too late for a meeting but I hope to attend the one this evening.

hi ,,if you want to find al-anon meeting you might want to call AA HOT LINE SOMTIMES


THEY HAVE THAT INFO,,I AM A CORNATOR FOR THE HOT LINE UP IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA ,WE SUPPLIE  THAT INFO TO,,I WOULD TRY AND FIND A AL-ALANON SPONCER ,,IF  IT IS LIKE AA WE ARE TOUGHT NOT TO DO IT ALONE,,
