I see that it has been 9 days now since I or anyone has posted on this board. The reason is that this board is not on the same row with the other boards, and I plain forget it is here now, and that is bad cuz I really believe that this is the most important (with the others) board on the site..  all the forums are for various Step programs,, and these are the Steps that are the center of those. Am I the only one who needs to have this board closer to the other ones to remember to check in?

love in recovery,

amanda

Hi Amanda...

Yeah, maybe this board needs to be more obvious to people. I check it every day but not many people post their experience strength and hope when it comes to working the steps. I've noticed that the early steps (1,2,3) are more active than the later ones, but I wish that the people who have worked the steps would come over and share more. I also appreciate the posts from alanon and aca...I am learning to incorporate these into the AA program. It's working for me!!

Miss ya lots...when ya coming back on a regular basis?

Love, cheri

awww..  thanks so much for missing me..  that is very important to me..  and in my decision about whether I should come back or not..   It would be in the fall, when i'm inside more.   It's true that some people only do the first three Steps!!   The part about letting God do everything.. lol  ..  then they don't want to do Step 4 and address their own responsibilities to 'change the things we can',, or the 'wisdom to know the difference'. But for those who do go on to Step 4 and the rest,  there is soooo  much good fruit in real improvements in our lives, that, tho there are fewer of us, we continue and support each other in these self improvement Steps, and share our experience, strength and hope, with those who might be encouraged thereby to begin also.

love in recovery,

amanda
