  1. We admitted we were powerless over _______--that our lives had become unmanageable. (*See Note At bottom)

So this is got me today.  I am powerless...  but I am gaining power over what I can change.  I don't know if I ever had power, but gaining power to change me is so wonderful.  I am not perfect, but I am progressing.  I slip, sometimes every day, but I am more able to come back to my alanon recovery, with the help of MIP and my sponsor...  I am powerless over everything but me....  I know to take it one day, one moment at a time.  I ask HP for help daily.  I keep to me now and keep in the moment.  If my thoughts stray to my A or other things to worry about, I remember, and remind myself to come back to me....Thank you step 1!
