Big Book Studys

I went to a C.A. meeting last nite , generally I go to A.A. I was really touched in their beginning and ending formats that were read . I felt at home. I was'nt aware that C.A. did'nt use N.A. books. Anyways we started on page 113 in the B.B. With only 3 days clean I was really struck being reminded of the emotional journey we take our family members to only to be remined that calling and saying I'm sorry isn't always  effective . From what I understand somewheres in the 4th step I will know better how. I've now got a sponser and we've made plans to go over my !st step work I've done. This time around I want to thourough. But it still feels as if I'm runnin things. I'm hoping I can feel my way through this site, meetings, trying,to reconnect with my H.P. remaining sober and clean. I'm keeping the faith!     ONE DAY AT A TIME- MELINDA

Hi,
I have been affected by differet addictions in close family member and all I can say is that they made amends to me the day they entered the rooms.  My partner has been sober for 6 months I am so proud of him every time he goes to a meeting I see a little more of his real personality return.  Good luck  keep up the good work you are worth it. x
