5. Each group has but one primary purpose - to carry its message to the adult child who still suffers.

As is the case with any organized human endeavor, sometimes the purpose of the gathering can get lost in the people, their personalities, and their agendas.

We need to be mindful that this is the purpose of the program at all times.

Thanks James. It was no mistake- that I was able to put together my thoughts, on this tradition, on the alanon board. Doing the traditions, as an ACA, is new to me.

The focus here is on the adult child, the child within. It is my inner child, loved and nurtured by the parent within, and learning to be a loving caring balanced adult which is the primary focus.

It is natural for me to seek out other people like myself... to express and enjoy

a new won freedom and peace.aww
