 Hi, I am in need of a temp Sponsor. My Sponsor recently informed me she will not be going to meetings anymore. I am in a small group with mostly newcomers, so

I don't have an option to ask one of them.  I have taken my 4th and 5th steps and continue to grow in the program with a very grateful heart. I no longer have the

need to control and worry about situations - I am turning my problems over to my Higher Power! I do have slips but, know I can always start over.

Lynn, welcome This is a step work board and does not have many other posters.

Hi Hotrod, 

 I am in Al Anon - I grew up in an alcoholic home then married young my high school sweet heart who is an alcoholic. He is now sober for almost 5 years, but

 doesn't attend AA. He is an avid tennis player - tennis is keeping him sober, but the dry drunk periods come and go. Thats where Al Anon comes in to keep the

focus on me and let him handle his problems.
