Alanon Step 10 (9-24- 2018)

Step 10   Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

C2C Page  144   "Sometimes the healthiest thing I can do for myself is  to admit I am not perfect, I am human- I make mistakes

 My share

This is  powerful Step and one that I have Incorporated into my daily recovery process. Today when I feel uncomfortable, I stop, examine my motives, look for my part in a situation, refuse to point fingers of blame and attempt to resolve issues in an objective manner.

When I first worked this step, I was frightened of what I might find- however the steps before helped to remove many of my negative attitudes and my fears were unfounded.

. In that way. I found that for the first time in my life. I had embraced serenity and found the peace, have always eluded me. Not being willing to surrender.this wonderful gift. I found the courage to pick up the 10th step, whatever I felt uncomfortable and explore my inner thoughts.  . I always found the 10th step was a great and use it continually,

Step 10 Questions

 How do you feel about taking a personal inventory

What means of taking an inventory is comfortable for me?

In a daily inventory I can ask myself:;

what were the major events of the day?

What will help me to continue to apply program when life gets rough?

What can I do with my  inventory?

What feelings have I experienced? How did I deal with them?
Did I take good care of myself today?
Is there something I need to take a longer look at? What is it?
What characteristics show up. More often in my inventory?
Do I resist having them removed?
