Step six were entirely ready to have God remove these defects of character C2C reading page 221 I need not judge the rate in which I change old habits or ways of thinking if I am uncomfortable withMY MY behavior thEN on some level I am already moving toward change. I heliIEVE that only that when the time comes to move forward I will know it My share I made myself entirely ready to have my defects removed by attending a meeting each day, reviewing the tools of the program, focusing on myself and reciting the serenity prayer. It was amazing how I uncovered all the negative attitudes that I had embraced and believed t hat hey served me I found that these wee only hurting me and to be able to leave them and be healthy. all I has to do was being willing and ask HP I am entirely grateful for this program Step six questions What have I learned of an Al-Anon friend on how they work step six? Do I clearly understand the concept of readiness? to understand why this step speaks only of my own relationship with God? What does this mean to me? How am I grateful l that I now know the God of my understanding? What fears block me from being entirely ready? Can I ask God for the willingness to be ready? ; (Other than Let go and let God what other Al-Anon so then what tools can help me with this step? . __________________ Betty
