Step 4

Hi there, I am a new member and I am having trouble with step 4.  I have mostly hurt myself with my alcoholic thinking and actions.  My parents are both deceased so I cannot make amends to them except to keep sober.  My children have suffered and the only way I can think to make amends to them is to stay sober. Any suggestions would be helpful.

hi, sweetpea,, welcome to the board.  Have you seen the AA board?  Since we are on Step 10 at the moment,, but I want to help you if I can with the topics you mention..  since I can really relate to them..  may we use private message here? and the AA board also?  and meanwhile  the Step 10 discussion will go on this board for another week.  I'll be putting up the AA and ACoA Step soon.

Hi Amanda, Thank you for your support.  I am not sure how to use Instant message. I have a really busy day today but will try tonight. Thanks again and have a great day.

I think if you click on the person's name,, a little box will come up that give a choice of looking at their profile or sending a private message.
