Step Two....

Step Two.

Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

This part of our MIP Alanon activity is in a holding pattern. Our leader here, Betty K. is seriously ill, in New York.

I am sitting in my truck, three hours from home, having spent the night in  tent! At the bottom of a sheep paddock.

The key to this step, for me- is the first three words- "Came to believe."

Each members gets to choose the nature of this belief. This is a personal choice.

But the steps comes at a defining moment in our life. A turning point. A deep desire for change. Maybe desperation and fear!

For me- I am looking back- with gratitude. A changed life. With good family relationships.

This did not happen overnight! But I am so glad I made the start!

Feel free to share here- or to leave a note.

"Participation is the key to harmony."  (Alanon Concept 4.}
