(I just realized that there is still Step 12 to do on this cycle, and I will do that,,  but then see below)


It is light later now, and warmer, and I spend more time outside..  out and about. I am going to take some time off from my computer, only doing the research and writing of a book I am working on, and work in the garden,,,  making hay while the sun shines.


I want to say that, even though I didn't share much about the Steps, I have benefitted greatly by having to reread them all from all these perspectives in literature from ACoA and AA, and more is always revealed to me... and so I thank you for the privilege it has been to write these down for you.


I plan to come back to my inside activities in the fall, when it gets cold and dark again. God willing. I salute you, Dot , for your perserverance and commitment to service in writing the alanon perspective and sharing, and responding to posts.

Hi Amanda - I'll miss you on the board as I always look forward to your shares.

Thanks for all you do here and have a good summer. Enjoy the sunshine.

Update on me - I spent two good weeks with cousins in Oregon who are in very poor health - and now am praying for a niece who is critical due to alcohol. She bled out from her esophagus and they had her in a coma and paralyed. They are now bringing her out slowly and so far she's passed each crisis. Next they'll try taking her off life support.

Have fun in the sunshine - see you in the fall.
