If I have a router with a USB port in it, can I use a power bank to provide it with electricity if the power shut down?


The USB port on a Router is mainly there to connect storage devices such as pen drives or external hard disks and use them as Network Attached Storage (NAS). That storage space is visible to all the services connected to that network either through cable or WI-FI. There are also other uses such as charging low power devices etc.
