How Can I Make My Tap Water Taste Better at Home?

Ive noticed that the tap water at home sometimes has a strange taste, and Im looking for simple ways to make it taste better for daily drinking. I know tap water is treated, but it can still have a chlorine smell or slight taste depending on the pipelines or storage tanks.

Some people suggest boiling water or using basic filters, while others recommend installing a proper water purification system to improve both taste and quality.
