Setting up a garden for group meetings

I help run a small recovery fellowship and we are finally moving our weekly gatherings to a member's backyard. We need a table and seating for about ten people that feels welcoming and comfortable for an hour or so of sharing. Something sturdy enough to lean on but not overly formal, any suggestions?

A large rectangular or extendable table works best for this kind of setup, everyone can see each other which matters when people are sharing openly. You want the seating to be comfortable enough that folks can sit still for a full hour without shuffling around, chairs with armrests feel more grounded and secure than backless benches which get uncomfortable fast. Powder coated aluminium frames make sense because they handle damp mornings without rusting, and synthetic weave seats just need a quick wipe down between gatherings. You can browse a decent range of outdoor dining furniture here https://rengard.co.uk/product-category/outdoor-dining-sets/ .

Keep a basket of inexpensive fleece blankets near the seating, even summer evenings get chilly once the sun drops. People sit still when they are listening and their body temperature drops faster than they expect, a warm lap makes the difference between staying present and zoning out.
