Can I save Instagram videos without losing too much quality?

I noticed that some Instagram videos look really sharp in the app, but the copy I saved before looked noticeably softer. I wanted to keep a few clips from a weekend event, and Id rather not end up with blurry videos. Is there a simple way to save Instagram videos while keeping most of the original quality? Im not looking for complicated settings, just something that works reliably.

One thing I usually check is the quality of the original video first. I had a similar situation with some cooking clips I wanted to keep, and the downloaded versions looked fine when the original upload was already clear. I also avoid converting the file several times because that can affect quality. A stable connection helps too, especially with larger videos. For me, checking the saved file afterward is probably the easiest way to see whether the method worked well.

I had the same question after saving some travel clips that looked great on Instagram but not quite as sharp afterward. I tried a couple of browser tools and paid attention to the quality of the final files rather than just the download speed. SnapTik was one tool I came across, and the basic process was pretty simple. I copied the Instagram video link, pasted it into the tool, and then checked the resulting file. I think its worth comparing the original and saved versions, since quality can depend on how the video was uploaded in the first place. Keeping the downloaded file in its original format can also help avoid unnecessary quality loss.
