I've occasionally chosen a slot because the artwork looked interesting, only to discover that the gameplay was completely different from what I expected. Sometimes that turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and sometimes I lost interest almost immediately. It made me wonder how much appearance influences our choices. Have you ever tried a game that turned out to be very different from its presentation? Did you end up liking it more or less than you expected?

Visuals definitely lure you in, but mechanics make you stay. I once loaded a slot thinking it was a simple classic fruit machine because of the retro artwork, but it turned out to have complex cascading reels and cluster pays. It caught me off guard, but I actually loved the extra action. My rule now is always testing games in free demo mode first to check the actual mechanics.
