How Do You Handle a Sudden Drop in a Team's Performance?

Every season, there seems to be a team that starts brilliantly and then suddenly struggles for several weeks. It is difficult to know whether the opponents have figured out its tactics, the players are tired, or the early results were simply better than expected. What do you investigate first when a team's performance drops? How many disappointing matches would you need to see before changing your opinion about it?

When a team slumps, I always look at their recent fixture congestion first. Playing three matches in eight days wears down aggressive pressing teams faster than tactical adjustments do. I rarely lose confidence in a side after just one or two bad results, but three bad performances against weaker opponents is my red flag. If you want to get started with tracking these trends yourself, try logging key metrics like shots on target on 1xBet during mid-week games to spot exhaustion early.
