I'd say presentation matters more than people sometimes realize. I remember trying two games with almost identical mechanics, but one had a much clearer layout and more interesting animations. I naturally preferred that one. Good design also makes it easier to understand the rules and follow what's happening during each round. Sound is another detail that can change the atmosphere quite a bit. Still, I think gameplay needs to be enjoyable too. Great graphics might attract someone's attention, but they won't necessarily keep them interested if the actual game feels repetitive.

I usually notice the theme first, especially when a game has an interesting setting or a creative storyline. Recently, I tried a few different titles and found that simple menus and smooth animations made a bigger difference than I expected. I also like when developers make the rules easy to find instead of filling the screen with unnecessary information. When exploring online gaming platforms, I sometimes check other available sections to get familiar with their layout. You can have a look when you Bet with GSB and see how the platform presents its upcoming sportsbook events. In my opinion, good design should make navigation comfortable rather than distract people with too many effects.
