step 4

From: Courage to Change pg. 255 (Copyright 1992 , by Al-Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc. Limited use by express written permission of Al-Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc.)

" Step Four offers me a chance to find some balance. It helps me to identify the things I've been telling myself about myself, and to learn whether or not those things are true. Today I will take one of my assumptions about myself and hold it up to the light. I may find it stems form habit rather than reality "

Happy Christmas all llol Vickyr x

I'll be working my fourth step this week. Sharing the step is the part I am going to have to work on, I think a friend of mine may be the one to share with. Come hell or high water my new year resolution is to attend a F2F - at least one. I have a meeting directory, now I have to figure out how to make it work with my kids and sitter situation.

Objectively speaking, I am not sure what I have inside to share on the 4th step - but that often seems the case until the writing starts :oP.

Looking forward to this step, because I know the freedom of progression.

oh boy!!!!! The dreaded fourth step. This seems to be a very big step that will take so much time and effort. For some reason I feel a block while coming to this step. I want very much to do this and feel the freedoms that come along with doing the work. I dont know what it is????I feel like this needs so much time and attention that I need to go into like a seclusion to do this right........... I dont know........... I am willing and will let my higher power lead the way...............trying to make a little sense of my feelings here lol lol

Wishing  you all serenity in the new year.

Theresa
