STEP 10 Questions EMOTIONS ANONYMOUS

I do not speak for Emotions Anonymous as a whole. I am just one grateful member, but using the Step by Step workbook I have some great questions from that literature I can use when doing my Step 10..the following is my wording....

Can I find examples in my day where a situation would have eased if I had apologized instead of let the situation go on? Am I willing to look for my part in the problem? Did I blame others instead? What character defect was at play? What character asset might be beneficial in that situation and for my serenity? Have I recognized the POSITIVE things I did today?

It is important I take responsibility for "how" I respond - my part in it.....that, to me is response-ability, the gift of choice that Program gives me. I am only human, I will not do it perfectly.....but that isn't the goal....the goal is serenity and relying on my Higher Power and Program and fellowship so I head in the direction of healing and learning each day.....one day at a time....and learning to like myself, as I am, in my own skin while I grow.
