STEP 2 - EMOTIONS ANONYMOUS

"Step 2: Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity."

Some excerpts from 'Step by Step, A guide for working the steps of Emotions Anonymous'

I am paraphrasing and shortening this information. Please check the actual literature for complete accuracy and questions.

In step two...."we aim to develop a positive relationship with a Power we can accept as being greater than we are......some of us had no concept of a Higher Power. Some saw their Higher Power as Someone or Something to be feared. Others had a good relations with their Higher Power."

Using the guide "we see what our concept of our Higher Power has been....it may be helpful in identifying a Higher Power which we can accept and One with whom we are able to develop a more positive relationship."

A few of the questions follow:

Describe your understanding of your Higher Power.

Your earilest spiritual experperience?

What qualities do you think your Higher Power should have?

List any resentments you have toward God.

If you had an interview with God what would you ask, say, want or tell God?
