length of step 4 inventory


Hi,

How do you know if the inventory you have taken is too long? I have almost completed the list of resentments and I have over 70 names!

Your Sponsor is your guide. Every step 4 is unique and there is no too long or too short.

That is what I was taught, anyway.

 That would help, except alot of us ACA's here do not have formal ACA meetings in our communities, therefore we have no sponsors available to us.

What then???

Go with what your Higher Power has told you.  You'll know if it's complete.  And if it isn't that's OK too.  What I mean is that I did my fourth step over 14 years ago and while I was writing my third book I remembered another person I had harmed.

I didn't forget that person intentionally, I just never thought about it.  When I remembered it I contacted him and made amends.
