Al-Anon New comer's 3rd attempt - Starting Step 1

Hi - Ive new to MIP and new to the concept of step work online, having gone to previous f2f meetings.

 

I see my life has become unmanageable, looking back it has been for sometime - I want to begin my journey of recovery on Step One - but dont know where to turn to, or what it really takes to know that you have admitted you are powerless.

 

I have attended meetings before, but never embraced working the steps, and was terrified of the thoughts of sharing with a sponsor - but I've stepped off the emotional trainwreck that my relationship with my sober A ex-bf had become.

Where do I start??
