Step ??

Hi all,

This is a test.  Which step are you on?  Am new here.  Actually it's really toto not carla, which is my user name, but don't know how to change it.   Had trouble registering.

Have done steps 1,2, 3 but got stuck on 3 cuz don't know will of HP and wanted to wipe out all uncertainty, of course, went on to step 4.  Made a list of 100 realizations and then I realized they were all criticism, especially of my person.  Decided to make point101 positive about myself and guess what.?  Can't think of one thing.  It's really hard to be positive about myself....

that should say something...

greetings to all

Hi Toto,

Welcome to this healing place. This is a safe place to air our feelings. The members all have something in common. We are connected in the desire to change our lives. It is possible. The answers are in the Steps.

The first three Steps are conclusions of the mind. Take your time. This is a process. Get a sponsor to help you through the Program. We cannot be effective on our own. Heaven knows I tried. But, my BEST thinking got me here :). So take it easy and let the work begin. Each day is a possibility to improve our thinking. I really had a thinking problem, not a drinking problem. The Program has helped me change the way I look at life. It is a Design for life. Through the BB and meetings I have found my truth. Viz a vis STEP ONE...

Step Three is a decision. That is a start. No big deal. This is a time to understand that our lives were out of control and only a Power greater than ourselves could help. With humility and a willingness, we begin our journey. There is no graduation. We do not ever get done. The work is revealed in every aspect of our lives. It is a Miracle. Success is guaranteed. The Promises come true. Keep coming back...Stick around for the Miracle.

You are loved more than you can know. JV.
