I want to start step 3.  I found step 1 & 2 very OK but now I need help and will find a sponser.  For all the years I have been in program I have never had a sponser.  I guess I have felt I could do it without one, but no more!  So I appreciate the help all of you are giving me, Lyne

Good work following up with the Steps
In working this Step I was advised that the 3rd step just asks us to MAKE a Decision to turn our will and life over to the CARE of a Higher Power

My will was difficult to really find as I was living in denial and pretend so I was asked to turn my will over by agreeing to attend meetings, use the slogans each day, read the ODAT and pray each day All that was very new and in the beginning required me to really turn my will over. When I was comfortable doing this it was then time to move to Step 4
