Adult Children of Alcoholics - Step 3

3: Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understand God.

If you have settled the issue of having a higher power (or God as the step says) then now it's time to make a choice: you can admit that you can't do it alone and accept the help of the universe or you can continue to suffer. Trying to overcome adult child dysfunction by yourself is like playing basketball one on five; even Michael Jordan or LeBron James wouldn't have much luck with it. You can find other players for your team at our ACoA forum. Come visit and get started.
