Tradition 2 - For our group purpose there is but one authoritya loving God as He may express Himself in our group conscience.  Our leaders are but trusted servantsthey do not govern.

What I love about this tradition is that it's a reminder that we each have a voice in all of our affairs. I love looking at the traditions and how I can apply them to both my professional life and my home life. This tradition has taught me so much about listening. I used to listen so that I could then voice my own opinion. Through study of this tradition, I have become better at listening for the sole purpose of hearing what the other person has to say. This has been a huge change for me and something I continue to work on.

The other thing I love about this tradition is that it's a reminder that in a group meeting we should each feel comfortable to bring items up for business meetings and we should each be allowed to voice our thoughts, ideas and concerns at business meetings.
