Happy Mother's Day to all!  and a happy day to all those that make us to be mothers!  kids and fathers. 

I had an amazing spiritual awakening last yesterday at a special charismatic retreat. I went into it feeling down and in need, and came out feeling totally amazed at how God 'enters in' to our lives in His great mercy, healing and renewing us, consoling us, easing our heavy burdens,  directly and through us to each other.  The Presence in Power!

None of us are perfect. Our mothers were lacking and inadequate, though some did better than others at raising and nurturing. We have been less than perfect mothers to our own children, no matter how hard we tried. And our children are imperfect, challenging us to our limitations, so that we are nudged into learning and growing to meet those challenges.

Life is precious, and sacred, and it is a privelege to be a partner in its creation.
